Etiaba harps on unity of Igbos to overcome challenges

By Lawrence Njoku, Enugu
Etiaba stated this in Enugu at the dinner to mark the end of the 2024 yearly General Meeting and inauguration of new executive of Zenith Environmental and Social Protection Network ZESPRONET, a non-governmental organisation saying that the Igbos can do better and cause the development of the region if they get focused and stop complaining.
Etiaba stated that Igbos should jettison cries and allegations of marginalisation and focus on issues that could bring about development of their economic potential.
He stressed that Igboland is blessed with enormous human and mineral resources, adding that if combined with their ingenuity, Igbos could transform their economy.
He also said that politics in Nigeria has not developed because of a lack of ideology saying the politicians should stick to principles, changing the way they play politics in the country.
