The former Senator representing Kogi central Dino Malaye had on Tuesday Accuse all public officers of failure including himself.

Melaye, in a tweet, bemoaned the economic situation of the country, following decades of prosperity from international oil trade.

In March, the international oil benchmark, Brent crude, plunged to its cheapest in 18 years as it traded around $22 per barrel.

According to the former senator, despite the gains made from over half a century of oil trade, Nigeria could not successfully feed its citizens for two out of the five weeks the country was on lockdown on the order of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).
