CVR: Anambra State Assembly Speaker, Right Honourable Udeze Urges Eligible Residents To Participate

As the continuous voter registration exercise begins in Anambra State ahead of the November eight governorship election, the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze has urged eligible residents of the State to come out in large numbers to register or update their details.

In a Press statement in his office, Right Honourable Udeze noted that the voter registration exercise which ends on seventeenth July is a veritable opportunity for eligible voters in the three hundred and twenty six electoral wards in the State to obtain their rightful tickets to participate in November eight 2025 Anambra Governorship election, which he described as an election to consolidate, appreciate and empower Governor Chukwuma Soludo for more exploits in the State.

The Speaker who called on the State lawmakers to embark on intensive sensitization and mobilization of eligible voters in their various constituencies for the continuous voter registration exercise, enjoined his Ogbaru two constituents who do not have voter cards but are eligible to vote, to ensure that they make good use of this opportunity offered by the INEC to obtain their voter cards.

He reasoned that since Governor Soludo has done creditably in transforming all sectors of the State economy as well as improving the living standard of Ndi Anambra, the voter registration exercise in the State which is for the coming Anambra governorship election will surely increase the number of voters in the twenty one local government areas that will support the Governor’s reelection.
