Court Grants EFCC Permission to Amend Charges Against Ex-Minister Agunloye in Alleged ₦6bn Fraud Case

The Federal Capital Territory High Court has granted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) permission to amend charges against former Minister of Power, Dr. Olu Agunloye, in a case involving alleged forgery, corruption, and disobedience of a presidential order related to the Mambilla power plant project. Agunloye faces a seven-count charge including accusations of awarding a contract without approval, and suspicious payments linked to his accounts. The court adjourned the matter until February 3 for the rearrangement of charges.
