Chief of army staffs commends 82 division Nigeria army and joint task force south east operation (Udoka) on efforts to tackle insecurity

Nigeria Chief of army staffs General Olufemi Olatubosun Oloyede has commended men of Nigeria army of 82 division Enugu and joint task force south east operation otherwise known as Udoka security outfit for their consistent efforts on fight of tackling insecurity in the south east and Nigeria in general.
Giving this commendation through major General Adewele Adekeye who represented him during the last Chief of Army Staffs (COAS) special Sallah Lunch Organized by General Oluyemi Olatoye the GOC 82 division Nigeria Army and theatre commander of joint task force on fight of insecurity south east operation (Udoka) held at Onitsha Military Cantonment recently, General Oloyede said, “am proud to see you all today coming out to show your happiness and patriotism and displaying that spirit that put all other citizens ahead of yourself and working tirelessly to ensure that peace and security of our great nation is maintained especially within the joint taskforce area of responsibility, let me use this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation on the outstanding efforts the troop of this operation is making, your bravery, resilience, dedication to duty are not unnoticed, I must appreciate and commend the resilience you have so far recorded in the fight of insecurity, I commend you for your numerous successes recorded including the recent seizure of a truck containing more than a Thousand, Six Hundred and Sixty Six bails of a ammunition”.
Earlier, while delivering a welcome address during the occasion, major General Oluyemi Olatoye the Goc 82 Division Nigeria army who also doubles as theatre commander joint task force south East operation (Udoka security outfit) noted that the occasion was not just about celebration but rather about encouraging unity, comradeship, and dedication to duty to serve the nation. While underscoring the importance of fellowship between personnels, he told the officers that it is important that they recognize what it matters to stand shoulder to shoulder not only as personnel in uniform but as brothers and sisters committed to one mission which is defense of unity of the country.
Said the theatre commander, “Let me state categorically, that I am proud of each and every officers under my command, let me also commend all of you for your resilience whenever there are threats, I commend you all for demonstrating professionalism in execution of your duties as well as your doggedness when confronted with difficult operating environments, I want to gladly emphasized gallant efforts of officers in theatre operations which continue to speak volumes which are not too noisy but rather too result oriented, I give kudos to 82 division of Nigeria army together with joint taskforce south east operation (Udoka) for their positive action which are always swift and decisive in operation, your vigilance and sacrifice are noticed and recognized”.
On his part the Anambra state Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo who graced the occasion with other Chief executives of other sister agencies like FRSC, NDLEA, Civil defense, Nigeria Police, DSS among other dignitaries who also donated a sum of ₦1 million Naira each to about 39 wounded soldiers of joint taskforce on insecurity southeast operation (Udoka) who attended the occasion commended the army for their resilience and commitment to the Nigeria nation to ensure that insecurity will be eradicated in the South East region and Nigeria at large adding that they are sacrificing enough to ensure that Nigeria is safe and should be encouraged.
