The Chapel of Divine Grace, All Saints’ Anglican Church Nibo, Awka South local government area Anambra state state has concluded it’s maiden first fruits harvest in grand style. The harvest was on 16th August, 2020.

The first fruits harvest which attracted people across Nibo had the Church Teacher ,Mr Ejike Asogwa from All Saints Anglican Church, Nibo officiating.

In his sermon during the service to mark the first fruit harvest of the Church, Asogwa asked Christians to always sow their seed so as to receive God’s given wealth to humanity.

He noted that whatever greatness one acquires in life, is by the grace of God and is expected of them to come back to show appreciation to God.
Asogwa who encouraged Christians to remember God in all situations in their life, stood in for the Parish Priest, All Saints’ Nibo Revd ThankGod Nwankwo. There are other workers there including Revd Gabriel Ogala, the curate among others.

A member of the Chapel, Justice Chinyere Kalajine Anigbogu rtd, whose family built and handed over the chapel to the Anglican Church, thanked God for His faithfulness in instituting the Chapel through his family in immortalizing their late parents, even as he asked for God’s grace on all those who
worship in the Chapel.
Justice Anigbogu noted that Most Reverend Maxwell Anikwenwa, former Dean Church of Nigeria and Archbishop Province on the Niger as well as Bishop of Awka Diocese approved the chapel while the current Archbishop Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim, PhD posted Church workers to the chapel.

He further informed that the chapel has been given to All Saints Anglican Church parish Nibo as a spring board for evangelism at that section of the community.
He reminded that the compound hosting the chapel is equally hosting the Boys Brigade Nigeria of which he was once a National Vice President, South East and National President having enrolled in 1957.

Kalajine as he is fondly called informed too that the Bible Society of Nigeria’s Central office depot is also hosted in the building, pointing out that they have given the entire compound entirely for the service and worship of God.

He said the compound is of spiritual significant to their family, hence he is looking forward to seeing a bigger church spiring up from there.
