Calming Work By Anambra State Govt Progresses On Onitsha–Enugu Expressway

Following the palliative work embarked upon by the Anambra State government on the failed portions of the Amansea axis of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway, commuters are now experiencing a smooth ride.
ABS crew that monitored the pace of work reports that massive work is ongoing at the site as more materials that will aid early completion of the road like chippings and stones have been made available.

Several heavy duty equipment belonging to the Anambra State Ministry of works have been deployed.
Speaking to the ABS, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of works Mr Emeka Ohuoha said that they are working round the clock to ensure speedy completion.
Mr Ohuoha a lawyer, explained that they will carry out permanent work on the road as soon as dry season sets in.

He appealed to commuters to exercise patient as they are putting in every effort to ensure that the road is motorable.
A road user Mr Raphael Iyaji appreciated Anambra State government for the palliative work.
