ASUU Resumes Lectures as FG Pays June Salaries

Branches of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have resumed academic activities following the Federal Government’s release of delayed June 2025 salaries.

The delay, linked to a platform migration from IPPIS to GIFMIS, had triggered a no-pay-no-work stance in several institutions. Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, attributed the resolution to ongoing dialogue and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to staff welfare and academic stability.
