Anambra State Govt Issues Fresh Warnings Against Grazing Animals On School Premises

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Security, Mr Ostar Christopher has repeated warnings against grazing of animals on
school premises.
Speaking to journalists in Awka, Mr Christopher said violation of the ban on grazing on school environment would attract serious sanctions.
He expressed satisfaction that herdsmen has complied with the order of the State government and has moved out of the premises of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam Campus following the directive from the State Cattle Menace Control Committee after its meeting in Awka.
Mr Christopher restated that the State government would not tolerate animals destroying crops and farms or invading school environment.
He urged herdsmen and farmers to obey the existing rules and regulations for enhanced harmonious co-existence.
