Anambra Redemption Forum Inaugurated in Awka, as former SSG calls for mobilization at grassroots

A socio-political group Anambra Redemption Forum( ARF) has been inaugurated to Champion grassroots mobilization for the forthcoming November 2021 Governorship Election in Anambra state.
This is coming as a former Secretary to the Anambra State Government His Honour , Hon Osita Ezenwa advised the group, Anambra Redemption Forum( ARF)
to channel their advocacy to grassroot level in order to achieve positive results.
www.odogwublog.com reports that Hon Ezenwa spoke in Awka during the inauguration of Anambra Redemption Forum( ARF) Executive members at the auditorium of Christ Holy Church Awka, 22nd June 2021.
Hon Ezenwa insisted that mobilizing the grassroots to understand their message of enthroning good governance during the forthcoming Election is enough duty to Champion inclusive democracy.
He said leaders can only Champion good governance ideals when the led are aware of what constitutes good governance in a democratic era.
The erstwhile Secretary to the Anambra State Government frowned at the rate of insecurity that had bedeviled the state in the recent time but still commended Governor Willie Obiano’s administration for so many feats it has recorded security wise.
He urged Governor Obiano to come up with uncommon innovative ideas to make the state retain it’s pride of place in security.
Delivering his welcome address, the President of Anambra Redemption Forum, (ARF) Nduka Aguofia Esq, appealed for support, co-operation and partnership from stakeholders in different spheres of life .
Nduka, who also noted that aside good governance, the group was geared to promote the spirit alliance and partnership in seeking acceptable democracy dividends for ndi Anambra.
He further charged all stakeholders in Anambra to step up their games to ensure good governance is enthroned in the state during the forthcoming November Governorship Election.
www.odogwublog.com reports that Anambra Redemption Forum, (ARF) came into existence to engage the stakeholders in the Anambra polity in constructive criticism and advocacies with the purpose of ensuring that indigenes of Anambra State enjoy good governance.
Contributing, the spiritual father of day, Ven. David Achukwu, of Christ Holy Church, Awka, in his words ‘peace is what we need in Nigeria, because where there is peace, everything will go well and it is only peace that will take us out of security vices facing Nigeria’.
On the part of Dr Ken Uzoechi, a legal practioner while reacting to the effectiveness of the group towards the upcoming gubernatorial election in Anambra State, said the group would be pivotal in ensuring fairness, transparency, accountability and also to reawaken the society’s interest in the polity.
Uzoechi also advised Ndi Anambra to shun any form of godfatherism in the fourth coming election, and to vote by the leading of their conscience.
Meanwhile, a Presidential Aspirant, Dr John Kennedy Osuala, represented by the South East coordinator campaign of his campaign organization Prince J.I.Otiji, while revealing his endorsement by Ohaneze Ndi Igbo enjoined people from the Igbo ethnic group to speak in one voice, join hands and ensure that he secures presidential mandate.
The high point of the event was Oath administration to ARF State, zonal and local government executives.
