Anambra Market Leader Lauds Gov. Obiano For Lifting Embargo On Market Election

The president general of Bridge-Head Market Onitsha Anambra state, Mr. Sunday Obinze has poured accolades on the Exective Goveror of Anambra state, His Excellency Chief Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano for lifting embargo on Market election which according to him had been banned due to Covid–19 pandemic.
Mr. Obinze made the commendation while commenting on the election of Power Tools and Allied products Dealers Association”PTAPDA” Bridge-Head Onitsha, Anambra state which he witnessed alongside with various security agents.
He told traders to be thankful to the Governor Obiano and Commissioner for trade, Market and wealth creation, Hon. Uche Okafor who he said through their magnanimity acts to the traders they were allowed to conducts election to select their new exectives.
“We traders do not know what we have! We are lucky to have Goveror Willie Obiano as our Governor and Hon. Uche Okafor as our Commissioner for trade, Market and wealth creation. These two ebullent leaders do not joke with traders. They love traders so much and have compassion for them.
We would be recalled that markets election was formerly banned due to Covid–19 pandemic by the state government but due the mercy of the Goveror on the traders, he lifted it so that any markets who the tenure of their exectives have expired could be able to elects new ones”
He further commended the electoral committees and new elected exectives in the election, stating that he was impressed by the peaceful way their election was conducted, urging the new executives to be committed for the betterment of the Market.
He cautioned those he alleged that are fermenting troubles in the Markets to have a rethink and invest their resources in a meaningful ventures instead of using it to create confusion and sponsor litigations.
“Leadership is a call by God. If you are not gifted to be a leader, any efforts you makes to become a leader would be a waste of time and distraction. If you want to be Chairman of a Market, be sincere to your self and avail your self in the field and contest instead of peddling rumours and fake news around”. Obinze stated !
