Anambra LG Election: Group Endorses, APGA Candidate, Ugochukwu Emma

Ahead of Saturday’s local government election in Anambra state, a Non Governmental Organisation, Anambra Market for Soludo (AMS) has endorsed Engr. Emma Ugochukwu, the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance ( APGA) for Awka South council area.

Ugochukwu is a renowned philanthropist who has empowered many youths, women, especially the less privileged.

AMS coordinator, Dr Anayo Nweke said the group is endorsing Engr. Ugochukwu because of his track records and kind gesture of lifting many young people out of poverty, saying that his group will deploy similar energy and strategy it employed during Governor Soludo’s Governorship election in 2022 to campaign for Engr. Emma Ugochukwu to ensure his victory at the poll.

“The same manner we campaigned and voted for Governor soludo is the same way we are going to troop out en mass on Saturday to support the All Progressive Grand Alliance. (APGA) candidate, Engineer Emma Ugochukwu.

“We are given him our support and endorsement because he is a very vibrant young man that can drive development. He has empowered a lot of youths, built houses for the downtrodden and gives scholarships to many indigent students.

“Somebody of this nature deserves our votes and we believe that he will do well if elected .

Also speaking, a member of APGA non indigenes, Okeke Comfort urged Ndi Anambrara, especially the good people of Awka South to come out en mass to give APGA and Engr. Ugochukwu Emma
a block vote.

Chief Ezeudo Davids in his own said their choice of Engr. Ugochukwu Emma is an appreciation to Gov. Soludo for his resolve to make Awka a befitting state capital, even as he described Engr. Ugochukwu as an honest man

“He is vibrant, honest, and accomodating which is an indication that he will deliver if elected as chairman, Awka South council area.
