The South East Student Entrepreneurship And Innovation Conference took place today, featuring different great entrepreneurs who lectured students on various topics and themes. The conference was organized by Newsland Integrated media services in collaboration with the Office of the SUG Financial Secretary, NAU.
The first speaker, Mrs. Rosemary Ezeani, Director of Oluebube Charity Foundation, spoke on the need to fill gaps in business, entrepreneurship, and passion as the driving force. She explained how passion can enhance an entrepreneur’s business and create a sound business model by being educated in the chosen field. She added that no one is too small to generate great ideas and emphasized the importance of finding your business niche, managing finances, materials, and humans, never underestimating one’s abilities, and embracing creativity.
The second speaker, Dr. Sammy Adrian Ajefo, CEO of Color Code Groups, themed his topic “Media Power, Market Positioning, and Strategic Communication.” He discussed using communication to convey messages, manage selling points, and consider target audiences and demographics. He advised young entrepreneurs to master their crafts, define their reach, and create value through market audience analysis.
A panel session was moderated by Stephanie Nnamami, featuring successful entrepreneurs Mrs. Chidimma Cynthia Okoye (CEO of Omah Stores), Mrs. Cynthia Upkai (CEO of Dress By), and Mrs. Vivian Ohawusaokwu (CEO of DozzaVille Nigeria). They shared their experiences on starting and sustaining businesses, encouraging students with passion for entrepreneurship to start their ventures, make profits, create impact, and add value.

Other speakers, including Esv Ekweoba Arnold, Chairman of Arnold and Associates Group, discussed purpose-driven enterprise, highlighting four key questions for successful businesses: What problem am I destined to solve? How do I start? How do I keep improving? And what future do I envision? He advised those interested in real estate to start building and sustaining their ventures.
The conference concluded on a high note with participation awards given to students who attended, marking a successful event that inspired a new generation of entrepreneurs to pursue their passions and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
