Anambra Community Hails Soludo On Road Construction
The people of Umuona in Aguata local government area have extolled the giant strides of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Anambra State especially in Road infrastructure which they say will go a long way in facilitating the growth of businesses and open up the hinterlands across the state.
Umuona community through their traditional ruler Igwe Sunday Ezeofor and President-General of Umuona Town union Chief Ken Okoli described Professor Chukwuma Soludo as a Governor who has the interest of Ndi Anambra at heart.
They said that all the Interventions of Governor Soludo in Key sectors of the economy including Education, Agriculture, Human capital development amongst others are pointers that he is prepared to govern Anambra State and called on the people to continue with their support and prayers to his administration.
The traditional ruler Igwe Sunday Ezeofor and the President-General of the Town union Chief Ken Okoli while felicitating with Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the 2023 Champion Newspapers Award on infrastructure and Rural development appealed to him to remember the Oye- Umuona-Aguluizigbo Road and the one from Oye Umuona to Igboukwu which they said are being threatened by gully erosion, with flood damaging farmlands and entering into people’s compound.
They described the people of Umuona as law abiding citizens, adding that the roads when constructed will enhance both human and vehicular movements, boost businesses in addition to saving the community from the menace of erosion.
Umuona community extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his free education policy in Anambra State, as well as his one youth two skills Initiative which they noted will create a bright prospect for the Youths who are the leaders of tomorrow.
They described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a prudent manager of resources, who has continued to use public fund for the transformation of the state and reassured him of their total support at all times.
