Anambra 2025: Gov. Soludo Commends Anambra Stakeholders For Organizing Rally ….Received Chieftaincy Title Of Oluatuegwu By Anambra North Traditional Rulers

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof.Charles Soludo has commended the Anambra North stakeholders for organizing APGA rally, disclosing that he has not set up his campaign committee for the governorship election of November 8

The governor who made this disclosure at Otuocha Township Stadium, Aguleri during the Anambra North Senatorial APGA Rally also added that he is still thinking about starting of his campaign because they still focus on the work, that they work 24 by 7.

He thanked the Anambra North Stakeholders for coming together, putting in their resources, funds in organizing the days event, saying that he didnt put one naira in what was going on today

According to him,” I just express my gratitude, I am quite surprise that the North Senatorial Zone began this,I know that officially, campaign began last week on the 11 of June, but I haven’t set up campaign committee, we still focus on the work.

“We don’t know the candidates but when the campaign begins, we would now see whom the opponent is because when the time comes, we will also campaign as if we are an underdog to an unknown opponent.

He also commended Ndi Igwe Anambra North, stated that the title Olu Atu Egwu which was originated from the street has been formalized by Ndi Igwe Anambra North.

He recalled how Ndi Igwe Anambra North invited him on the 17th October 2020 at Igbariam and passed a message to him, told him that it was the turn of Anambra South to produce the next governor and they (Ndi Igwe) have gone round and found out that he is the most qualified in Anambra South to be the next governor.

He reiterated that immediately he was sworn in, he started work immediately in Okpoko, Anambra North, recalled that the day he flagged off in Okpoko was the same day he flagged off Umueze Anam-Nzam, added that not only that the Nzam road is completed, that the road from Nzam town to Local government is also completed.

The governor while commending Anambra North Traditional Rulers for the Chieftaincy title bestowed on him, stated that he deeply appreciated and treasure it, noting that he would not take it for granted .

He recalled that he started the journey in 2020 in Anambra North and he was here again in Anambra North to begin the journey in 2025, also stated that”We are the father of all progressive, in Anambra, we would know who is the father of all progressive, and all progressive are working together.

In his speech, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze stated that the governor after revealing his state of governance in the state, especially as it concerns Anambra North “We hereby make the following declarations, the Anambra North Senatorial Zone without exception is hereby put a vote of confidence and continuity of Governor Charles Soludo.

“His governance has earned our trust, admiration and we have given our support to his visionary leadership, people oriented governance, we extend gratitude for the projects executed in Anambra North under Soludo administration, the people of Anambra North remain committed to the principles of good governance, equity, justice and progress.

Contributing, the Mayor of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Hon Emeka Orji commended Governor Soludo for all the infrastructural developments in Anambra North especially in Onitsha South Local Government, noting that the local government is the most benefitted local government in all the infrastructural developments by Mr Governor.

He pledged the Local government’s unalloyed support to Governor Soludo’s administration, added that no stone would be left unturned in reelecting Governor Soludo come November 8 gubernatorial election, he also called on the people of the state to give the Governor a massive support in actualizing his dream for the state.

The Special Assistance to the Governor who is also the Convener of one of the Soludo’s support groups, APGA Fans Club, Hon Nwoye Obiajulu lauded Governor Soludo for his good governance, especially the developmental strides in Anambra North, he also reiterated their total support, readiness to Governor Soludo’s re-election come November 8.

The Governor’s aide also expressed his satisfaction on the governor, advised other contestants to support the governor because he is a consensus candidate and the choice of Ndi Anambra.
