Amnesty Slams FG Over Neglect of Boko Haram Girl Survivors

Amnesty International has accused the Nigerian government of abandoning girls who escaped Boko Haram captivity, saying they lack medical care, education, and support one year after the #EmpowerOurGirls campaign launched.

Despite suffering forced marriages and abuse, most survivors interviewed said they received no help from authorities. Amnesty urged urgent action from President Tinubu, warning the neglect violates both local and international child protection laws.
