Chief Ebuka Onunkwo a business mogul, industrialist and one of key aspirants for the post of Anambra south senatorial seat under the all progressive grand alliance APGA Anambra state has stated that if elected as a senator that he is going to the green chambers to make an impact on lives of his constituents noting that his priority will be to pursue laws that will affect positively to the developments of his senatorial zone which we leverage on welfare of people of his senatorial zone.
Disclosing this to newsmen during a brief interview during the last Sunday thanksgiving reception of the national chairman of APGA Bar Syly Okenwa held at Godwin Achebe stadium Fegge Onitsha south LGA, Chief Onunkwo a former town union president general of his community “Ihembosi and one of Igbo Diaspora traditional rulers and acclaimed industrialist, said his priority is to serve his people attract huge developmental dividends from the Federal government to his people.
Saying that he has the pedigree and connection to make the difference, he assured that he is going to use his business acumen to attract quality development like establishment of Federal government parastals as well as initiate quality bills and motion that will be beneficial to Anambra south senatorial zone.
On his chances to get his party ticket and chances of the party to make it he stated that he believes that his chances are bright based on his grassroots appeal as ha has always stayed close to the people who are the real owners of the party.
On chances of Gov. Soludo to make it for a second term in office come November 8th Anambra state governorship election, he said that as far as he is concern that Gov. Soludo will emerge victorious and will retain his seat as the governor of the state noting that there is no vacancy in Anambra state government house in Agu Awka.
While saying that APGA is the real owners of the state which was made possible by good governance of Gov. Soludo and other previous governors of the state under the party he posited that APGA will win every election in the state as the people of the state had established a strong bond with the party.
