Have you ever felt like your dreams are slipping away from you?? Like no matter how hard you try to chase after it, they are still faster than you that you see yourself failing again.
That was me two years ago, until I finally got admitted into my dream course after two gruel, stressful trial.

My journey to success as a student began with my passion for talking and being fluent at that and so I wished and really wanted to be a broadcaster and I had to study mass communication to bring that to reality. It was not just my dream but while conversing and interacting with friends and family, I always get this advice a lot “Imole, go for mass communication in the university”.

My first at gaining admission at the school of my choice ended in disappoinment as I felt like a pure failure after I was given a course that was against my will.

But while studying this course (Education and History) I refused to give up. I took a bold step for getting exam forms and going for extra mural lessons in between my classes of being and education and history student. I can say for a fact that it was not easy but unfortunately for me it also ended not better than the first. I felt depressed and like my dream was fading away quickly.

However, I did not let all those shortcomings get to me as I motivated myself and also gained experience. I believed in myself, strongly and getting advices from my mentors, elderly ones. And then, I got another exam form.

It was my third attempt, and when it was time for admission. My heart was beating as I was scared if failing again. But I summed up courage as I checked my portal and behold my dream course and “Congratulations, you have been admitted” written boldly on it. Words could not express the feeling of satisfaction and joy that radiated in my heart. Then, I recalled that the fact I did not give up, paid and paid me so well. With the experiences I’ve had, I don’t think I can ever give up on matters concerning other areas of my life.
