Ogbaru Market leader commended for developmental Strides, as ASMATA PG Commissions Bore hole

The Caretaker Chairman of Ogbaru Main Market, near Onitsha Anambra state, Chief. Ndubuisi Ochiogu has received commendations for the monumental achievements which he attracted to the Market within few months of his administration.
Part of the achievements was a Borehole water supply commissioned by the President general of Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders Association ( ASMATA), Chief Ikechukwu Ekwegbalu.

Chief Ekwegbalu who made the commendation while commissioning the resuscitated Borehole described Ochiogu as a peace loving leader who knows what to provide for his followers, even as he urged the Ogbaru Main Market traders to shun violence and embrace peace as they prepare to elect their new executives.
Ekwegbalu continued saying that he was not in the Market to campaign for anybody but to commission the efforts of the Caretaker Chairman.
” God’s will must prevail. So, for those of you who are gallivanting around should calm down, be disciplined in this fortcoming election. What we want is peace unless we cancel the election” He stated.
At the event, one of the Market prayer team, Brother, Ohanebo Pius who preached on the topic titled, ” Behold The Master Is Here” warned the Market election contestants to be careful, having pointed out that the Market leaders had neglected the words of elders.

Traders in the Ogbaru Main Market flanked ASMATA PG, Chief Ikechukwu Ekwegbalu during the commissioning of the Bore hole.
While Ohanebo reminded the market men and women that a good leader is a servant of God, he stated that there are duties of the elected leaders as all the Market traders are entrusted to their care. He also advised them to desist from diobolic means of living.
In the booklet titled ” Developmental Stride of Chief Ndubuisi Ochiogu,” compiled by the incumbent Secretary general of the Market, Mr. Bucknor Agu, he unequivocally revealed that no leader in the Ogbaru Main Market since its inception had achieved what Chief Ochiogu achieved within the shortest period as the care-taker Chairman.
He pointed out that successive administration of the Market neglected the essence of dividends of good leadership which he said the previous regime ignored and noted that Ogbaru Main Market traders are lucky to have Chief Ochiogu as the Caretaker Chairman.
Mr. Agu who doubles as the assistant secretary aspirant in the fortcoming Market election, averred that Chief Ochiogu is conveniently working harmoniously with 39 other Care-taker committe members which according to him is the largest executives ever recorded in the history of the Market.

” Chief Ochiogu is carrying everybody along and all the care-taker Committee executives are happy. Ochiogu came and disappointed his enemies and detractors. He came in peace, leaving out vendetta and showing love to traders. Many of his political opponents feared clampdown or intimidation but disappointed because Chief Ndubuisi Ochiogu came to love and develop Ogbaru Main Market”
He, however, enumerated some of achievements of Chief Ochiogu as, adquate security, Solar powered lights, rehabilitation of (OMMATA HALL) resuscitated Market Bore hole, stationing fire extinguisher in the Market, constant evacuation of wastes both inside and outside the Market. He passionately appealed to traders to support Chief Ochiogu in the fortcoming election in their Market as a way to reciprocate him for making the Market a conducive place for everybody.
In his appreciation speech, the Care-taker Chairman of the Market, Chief. Ndubuisi Ochiogu poured accolades on Chief Ekwegbalu and his entourage, stating that he invited them to come and commission the Borehole and also see other projects he established within few months of his leadership in the Market which he said was entrusted to his care by the state government.
He reminded traders that he pledged them sincerity and total repositioning of the Market when he assumed duty as the care-taker Chairman, pointing out that he has fullfiled all he promised to do in the Market.
He reassured a traders his total commitment to serve them and intensify efforts to make the Market more befitting place for trading if they return him back as their elected Chairman by voting for him in the fortcoming Market election.
In there separate comments, the Market Sanitation Chairman, Mr. Godwin Okpala and Market financial Secretary, Mr. Paulinus Nwokedi testified that Chief Ochiogu is a God sent leader in the Market, praising him for his inclusive leadership style by carrying all the 39 Care-taker members along which they attributed to the monumental achievements of Chief Ochiogu.
