Commissioner Onyekesi Felicitates Ndi Anambra on New Month, 66th Independence Anniversary
The Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs. Chinyere Esther Onyekesi, has felicitated with Ndi Anambra on the commencement of the new month of October, praying for peace, prosperity, protection and success for individuals, families and communities across the State.
In a goodwill message marking the occasion, Commissioner Onyekesi prayed that Almighty God would crown the efforts of Ndi Anambra with success, protect their homes and families, and grant them peace and fulfilment in all their endeavours.
The Commissioner also felicitated with Nigerians as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary, describing the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices, courage and resilience of the nation’s heroes past, while renewing the collective commitment to unity, justice and the pursuit of a better Nigeria for all.
Mrs. Onyekesi reaffirmed her commitment to the protection, welfare and empowerment of women, children and vulnerable persons across Anambra State. She said that under the purposeful leadership of Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, and with the support of the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Nonye Soludo, the Ministry of Women and Social Welfare would continue to promote a society where every woman, girl and vulnerable citizen can live with dignity, enjoy protection and realise their full potential.
She urged Ndi Anambra and Nigerians to celebrate responsibly, show love and concern for one another, and continue to contribute positively to the development of the State and the nation.
The Commissioner wished Ndi Anambra a happy new month and a happy 66th Independence Anniversary, praying for God’s continued blessings, peace and prosperity for Anambra State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
