Onunkwo Enjoins Journalists to Be Factual, Promises to Advance Industrialization
By Grace Onwukwe
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Seahorse Lubricant Limited, Chief Dr. Ebuka Onunkwo, has enjoined journalists to remain factual and truthful in their reportage.
Chief Onunkwo also expressed his intention to make industrialization more effective and progressive if he succeeds in his political ambition.
He made the call and revealed his intention on September 8, when some members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, embarked on a facility tour of his factory in Ihembosi, Ekwusigo Local Government Area.
Responding to questions from the journalists, Chief Onunkwo disclosed that his poor and humble beginnings influenced his decision to give hope to the hopeless and support the less privileged.
He explained that his quest to venture into politics was aimed at having a platform through which he could extend his support to the less privileged beyond his local government and take industrialization to a higher level.
The Chairman of the NUJ, Anambra State Council, Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, PhD, commended Chief Onunkwo for the warm reception accorded the journalists and for the cordial relationship existing between him and his workers.
A major highlight of the event was a facility tour of the Seahorse Lubricant production process, led by Chief Onunkwo.
