IGBO ANCIENT KINGDOM CALLS FOR THE RELEASE OF NNAMDI KANU

IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has been in detention since 27th of June,2021 when he was arrested, under the administration of the late president, Mohammadu Buhari,he was arrested and brought back to Nigeria; since then,he has remained in detention without any hope of freedom.
The excruciating condition of his ceaseless detention has fascinated eminent personalities and Associations in the country who are now clamouring for his freedom,one of them is Igbo Ancient Kingdom Cultural Association, the president of the Association ,Mazi Samuel Nwankwo spoke to newsmen today in Enugu concerning the never-ending trial of Kanu.
He said “let’s be very candid,every Igbo man that has access to the internet feels marginalized in the Nigerian nation, everything that concerns an Igbo man gets weird and awkward treatment, Kanu has been in detention for long, please release him for the sake of justice , security and equity ,every Nigerian deserves equal treatment,if he wasn’t an Igbo man,he wouldn’t be in detention by now”.
He commended Omoyele Sowore and other judicious and equitable Nigerians for standing tall on Kanu’s lingering matter ” as the president of Igbo Ancient Kingdom Cultural Association,I want to specially thank Sowore who is spearheading this course,he has seen the injustice and he wants to fight it, that’s why he’s calling for Kanu’s release, it’s not just about Kanu, it’s about human rights, it’s about justice, it’s about oneness and togetherness,every Nigerian deserves equal and impartial treatment, irrespective of the tribe, please release Kanu”.
