IGP Launches Safe Schools Initiative in Osun, Seeks Unity Against Attacks
Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has launched the Safe Schools Initiative in Osun State, urging collaboration among stakeholders to protect educational institutions from attacks.
Represented by AIG Fred Emuobo, he also inaugurated the Schools Protection Squad and directed police commissioners to engage communities in ensuring school safety. Governor Ademola Adeleke pledged full support for the initiative, reaffirming Osun’s commitment to safeguarding students.
