President Bola Tinubu will travel to Lagos on Tuesday for the continuation of ECOWAS’s 50th anniversary celebrations, including a symbolic reenactment of its 1975 declaration and a keynote address at Eko Hotels. Former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, the sole surviving ECOWAS founding signatory, will also speak.

Tinubu will commission major infrastructure projects, including sections of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and several northern road projects. He is expected to observe Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks before returning to Abuja.
