The Yoruba Nation has declared support for Burkina Faso’s President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, hailing him as a symbol of resistance and people-focused leadership in Africa.

In a statement by Chairman Chief Omodunni Ayorinde and Secretary Banjo Adewale, the group praised Traoré’s policies on food sovereignty, infrastructure, and industrialization, urging African leaders to prioritize self-reliance and continental development over foreign influence.
