Lagos Seals Construction for Blocking Drainage
The Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources sealed a building under construction at No. 109 Alakoro Street, Lagos Island, for stacking materials that obstructed drainage flow. Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab emphasized the government’s commitment to clearing encroachments, enforcing environmental laws, and regenerating Lagos Island’s infrastructure. Advocacy programs will also promote awareness of environmental conservation.
