DSS blocks EFCC officials from accessing office building
Operatives of the Department of the State Service, DSS, are reportedly deterring officials of the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from gaining access to their office in Ikoyi, Lagos.
A source affected by the development revealed this to Odogwublog.com on Tuesday.
“We came to the office this morning (Tuesday) to meet the office gate block by men of the DSS,” he said.
Peter Afunanya, the spokesman of the DSS, did not respond to calls put through to him for comments on the matter.
According to reports, both agencies have been at loggerheads with each other over the ownership of the building.
As of the time of writing this report, all the EFCC officials at the office on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, were prevented from accessing the building by DSS officials.
