5000 present as Odumeje storm Nsukka talent show

Over five thousand audience during the weekend gathered at the Ekpo hall auditorium University of Nigeria Nsukka to witness the Nsukka Talent Showbiz and the most prolific pastor and music entertainer, Pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as Odumeje perform on stage.

The show which was tagged “Nsukka talent show” had other artist like Rita Edochie, Harry b Anyanwu, Stinblaze De Comedian, DJ Capello, Jerry Amilo, Prince Nwafor, and a host of others.

The event seeks to groom musical talent and up coming artist to provide a lifetime opportunity for the young youths to turn their dreams and aspirations into reality. 

OCO world entertainment takes this further by bringing the process of creating the ultimate superstar to reality by organising the first phase of the Nsukka Talent show.

Students, music lovers, entertainers movie actors including Odumeje’s faithful where all seated to have a glimpse of the mind blowing show.

A total number of contestant who registered were sixty three (63) while they will been coached by experts in the music industry in several areas as they aim for the top prize.

The contestants had taken to stage to perform where auditions was held and a total number of thirty five (35) contestant made it to the grand finale.

Speaking shortly after the event, Chief Executive Officer of OCO World limted, the organisers of the event, Mr Okwudili Celestine Okwudili (Mr Single) who spoke to News Echo said “We know that there’re a lot of talented people in Nsukka who need to turn up their musical careers. This platform will help launch them to musical heights.  We have a wealth of experience in supporting Nsukka talent and are confident we lead these vibrant youths to success”.

“It was a privilege for some of them who had looked out for this window of opportunities and I assure them that the shy will be their limit.

Mr Okwudili explaining the reason behind this feat noted that this is not the first time OCO is bringing out package for the people of Nsukka. He reiterated that he is poised to leading the people of Nsukka to greater development.

According to OCO world, Mr Okwudili, noted that the Nsukka talent show was a success as well as a huge turn out of music lovers.

However, clergyman and general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje a.k.a Indabosky Bahose, Liquid metal and the leader of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministries, known as multi talented male singer, took to the stage performing relic and blessings to spectators. According to him, his presence in Nsukka is set to bless up growing talented youths and make them prosperous. He noted that gifts comes from God an d it takes the will of God to develop those gifts.

In what could be a tough battle emerged the winner, Ozouli Ejike aka Santi X who hails from Ebe in udi LGA of Enugu state.

The epoch event had contestant from different spheres of entertainment exhibit their talents and showcase their performances on stage. With special guest like Rita Edochie, Harry b Anyanwu, Stinblaze De Comedian, DJ Capello, Jerry Amilo, Prince Nwafor, and a host of others.

The show equally had Oscar Martins as the host and Kingsman Outfit Enugu, an uprising clothing outfit entertained with latest trending fashions of different attire.

Prince Obielum Ifeanyichukwu who was present at the event told New Echo described Odumeje’s as the latest sensation al personality in the eastern region. “His approach to entertainment marvels most people and yet he kept making waves. He has moved out of the age long christian culture to the new age of christianity which is communicating with those you want to effect and I think that is the best to reach out and spread the good news. So Odumeje outing at the event is quite a success and commendable”.

Meanwhile, Emeka-Nsofor Chinaza Sylvia, one of the artist that presented a gift to the pastor said she “felt happy doing a portrait of him and could not wait for the day of the event to reach.Although i faced some obstacles on the D-Day which would have stopped me from presenting that day but my friends came through for me which made everything a success for me”.

“Presenting the portrait to Odumeje was like a dream to me though because I never thought of meeting him in person one day and I was also very happy when he said the work was Beautiful, I felt very happy” she added.

OCO world has been at the forefront of supporting events that celebrate the Nsukka rich arts and culture. It has further created entertainment platforms in sport, culture, tourism, media and the recently ‘Nsukka Talent Show’ a bid to promote unbridled talent on the global stage.
