21 Killed in Zaria-Kano Expressway Crash

A fatal crash on the Zaria-Kano Expressway has left 21 people dead after a commercial Toyota Hiace bus drove against traffic and collided head-on with a DAF truck at Kasuwar Dogo, Dakatsale.

FRSC reports that 24 persons were involved; 21 died (19 men, 2 women), and 3 sustained injuries. The victims’ bodies have been taken to Nasarawa Hospital, Kano.

The crash was caused by a route violation by the bus driver. FRSC urges drivers to avoid wrong-way driving and obey traffic laws to prevent further tragedies.
