Invest More In Vocational & Technical Education, 7th Ada Anaocha 2024 tells Soludo

Queen Ekpereamaka Ibeh, The 7th Ada Anaocha 2024 has told Prof. Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra that it will be a smart idea for him to invest more in vocational and technical education, assertiing that both schools promote entrepreneurship, self discovery and skill acquisition his government is working tirelessly to achieve.
The Queen told the Governor that vocational and technical education remain the unbeatable solution to reducing unemployment and poverty, given that it equip one with necessary skills one needs to start life, pursue career and be employer of labour.
While describing the Governor’s 1 youth, 2 skills initiative as revolutionarily superb, the Queen urged the Governor to inculcate it into vocational, technical and secondary school curriculum where it will serve as part of academic process, not just a periodic event, for maximum yield.
The Queen advised the Governor that his heavy investment in vocational and technical education will drastically reduce massive rush for university education and over dependence on white-collar job, stating that vocational and technical education promote productivity, expertise, technical know how, self reliance and creativity urgently needed in today’s challenging world.
The Ten Star Queen once again re-echored call for the Governor to consider building The Hall of Fame for Anambra brilliant students who are academically exceptional and have by all measure and account brought honour to the State in local and global competitions.
