Golden Tulip Hotel (Agulu Lake Hotel) ready for hand over in 2 Months

www.odogwublog.com reports that Governor Willie Obiano would be handed over a 5 star hotel , Golden Tulip hotel Agulu in the next two months by the Chinese contractors handling the project.
Engineer Arthur Waang, a Chinese, revealed this when Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne, inspected the pace of work at the site.
Waang extolled Governor Obiano for his hospitality and the release of fund adding that they kept their promise of building high quality hotel.
He said: ‘’….in two months’ time, the project will be handed over to the state government’’.

Ezenwanne, said the construction work at Golden Tulip Hotel, Agulu is of high quality and standard and expressed satisfaction with the work done so far stating that the five star hotel when completed, will contribute to the growth of the economy of the state.
Engineer Ezenwanne maintained that the state is now a choice destination for leisure, business and several other economic activities due to the security measure put in place by Governor Willie Obiano.
The Housing Commissioner revealed that the state is now witnessing business boom in all sectors of the state economy due to the conducive environment in the state.
He further called on people to come and invest in the state with facilities that will make life meaningful, assuring them that their investments will be secured

Agulu Lake hotel Resort modeled after Nike Lake hotel changed name in May 2017 when Governor Willie Obiano handed it over to Golden Tulip hotel group claimed to be the third largest hospitality group in the world, with head offices in Switzerland.
Obiano inherited the 100-room five star tourism idyllic Agulu Lake Hotel Resort from his predecessor, former Governor Peter Obi at about 83 percent completion. The hotel situated at Anaocha local government area is located in a verdant zone of the crocodile lake.
Obiano handed over the hotel to the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Tulip West Africa, Mr. Amaechi Ndili, who gave assurances that the hotel would open for business within the next six months but this is over a year he gave the assurances.

Chairman of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), Igwe Cyril Nwabunwanne Enweze, had said the company would operate and manage the hotel for a period of 10 years, renewable after the first five-year term and hoped that, when fully operational, the hotel would promote urban development and boost revenue  , create approximately 300 direct jobs and 1,200 indirect jobs as well as stimulate tourism.
Obiano appointed the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Prof. Charles Soludo as chairman and chief Executive and Chairman of Stanel Group, Mr Stanley Uzochukwu is a member of Board of the 8-man board to manage the affairs of Golden Tulip Hotels.
Other members of the Board are Mr Amaechi Ndili –the CEO of the hotel in West Africa, Chief Joe-Billy Ekwunife, Chief Patrick Chidolue, Hon. Chriscato Ameke, Mr Ifeatu Onejeme, Dr Chike Akunyili and Barr Mrs Ifeyinwa Obegolu.
