Anambra police declares woman, Aguiyi Anuli , others wanted over false information

www.odogwublog.com reports that Anambra state police command has denied receiving any report at its State C.I.D, Awka arm of the command on Saturday February 2013 (23/2/13) for the arrest of one Mr. Chukwunenye Nweke for kidnapping by Chief Chukwuka Onuko, or Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli, a lecturer.

Following a petition by Chukwunenye Nweke against Chief Chukwuka Onuko, and Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli among others to the Commissioner of Police , to ascertain the veracity of the allegations leveled against him that CP ordered some police men to arrest him on a Saturday, investigations were ordered by CP over the petition discovering it was a false information.

On this strength Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli and others have been declared wanted by the police state command to come and explain how they were given policemen based on their petition on a Saturday to arrest one Mr Chukwunenye Nweke.

Petition by Nweke on 4th April, 2018, addressed to CP was transferred to State C.I.D, Awka by Open Register(OR) and directed to D6 section by DC. And on 9th April, 2018,Mr. Chukwunenye Nweke was invited to the station to make statement under the watch of the I.P.O, Mary Ezechikwelu.

Nweke’s petition alleged that:“ I have land related issue with Chief Chukwuka Onuko, Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma, Mr. Ndu Onuko and Ogochukwu Ikunne, thereafter, they conspired among themselves to introduce a document dated 22nd March,2013,into my case, accusing me of attempted kidnapping and hiding for police over a report they made against me to State C.I.D, Awka on 23/2/13. I want police to scrutinize all the State C.I.D, Awka records to know  if any report was actually made against me on 23/2/13, so that , I will submit myself for arrest and if no report was made on the said date, Chief Chukwuka Onuko, Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli .I. and others  be arrested and tried for threat to my life, abuse of justice, falsification of proof, false information to public, because the police document dated 22nd March,2013, introduced into my case is a threat to justice, as well as my life”.

After the preliminary investigations, the D6 section of Anambra police command on Friday 13th April, 2018, issued its findings thus :” Based on the petition you addressed to CP on 22nd March,2018,to probe whether a report was made or not by Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma and others to State C.I.D, Awka, on 23/2/13, we have searched all our records and asked all sections in State C.I.D, Awka, but we couldn’t see such report, so if you have any information on how to get the suspects, do help us with it, so that they will come and show us where they made the report and the officers they used to search your house on 23rd February, 2013”.

Though the state police command could not issue a certified report, the IPO, Mary Ezechikwelu said:” Police cannot issue a report on investigation without hearing from the parties. That we have searched all our records and asked all sections too, but we couldn’t see any report made on 23/2/13 by Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma, so Mrs. Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma and others must be arrested first, then we will write our report and issue it out”.

Not deterred by the stance of the police so far by not issuing a certified copy , Mr Nweke petitioned the CP asking for the arrest of the suspects that gave police false information including Mrs Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma, 45yrs , Lecturer at Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe, and others.

The petition entitled ‘’a cry for justice to wit: abuse of court proceeding, falsification of exhibit , corruption , conspiracy , false information, attempted fraud and misleading affirmation perpetrated by a Lecturer , Mrs Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma , Mrs Ogochukwu Iikunne, Mr Ndu Onuko and Chief Chukwuka Onuko was received by the CP.

He lamented on why Mrs Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma and Mrs Ogochukwu Ikunne who claimed they have not seen him between two years and ten years should accuse him of attempted kidnapping, destroying his  father’s property at the tune of Five Hundred Million Niara (N500m).

Mrs Aguiyi Anuli Ihuoma had alleged that: “On 23rd February, 2013, in the evening hour I was driving with my car along Ichide/Nkwelle junction, Awka, all of a sudden, I noticed that Chukwunenye Nweke and three other boys with two motorcycles were coming after me. I also noticed that were with dangerous weapons such as axe and machetes then I speed up but  could not run faster because of the bumps on the road I slow down to  pass the bumps, they double cross me with the bick and I saw Chukwunenye Nweke hit the axe on the back of  my car windscreen and break it into pieces and the front windscreen cracked valued (N98,000.00) Ninety eight thousand naira.

'' I quickly rushed to State CID Awka the same day (23rd February, 2013), and made report. Police followed me to search for the complainant but the complainant was running to avoid police arrest. The document is hereby attached.

The suspects residing at No. 7 Ikechukwu Avenue Umudioka Village, Awka, informed Awka 33 villages reconciliation team that Mr. Chukwunenye Nweke was a kidnapper and he attempted to kidnap Mrs. Aguiyi Anulika Ihuoma on 23rd February, 2013 and the case was reported to State CID Awka on 23rd February 2013 and that police officers from State CID Awka, were searching for Nweke, he ran way and went into hiding to avoid being arrested by State CID Awka.
Nweke is asking for justice as he has been lied against on oath by Mrs. Aguiyi Anulika Ihuoma.

The Anambra state command Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO , Nkiruka Nwode admitted knowing about the case as an IPO has been assigned to it to unravel the mystery.
