Manga lamented that many Police personnel obstruct their duties, saying the Police command should sensitize its men on the issue.

"We don't want clashes with any of your men attached to any VIP foreigner, they should allow us to do our jobs, and where necessary, let us cooperate because we are all charged to ensure safety of every Nigerian", Manga said.

According to him, "as critical stakeholders in security, there is need for synergy, information sharing, and cooperation among us, that way, we can nip any lapses".

On his part, Imo Police boss, Chris Ezike said their duties overlap regarding peoples entry into the country, and assured that his men will not obstruct investigations.

Ezike disclosed that the force is mopping up illegal arms saying " it is paying off as our people are submitting theirs willingly. This is because the influx of arms has been a major cause of problem in the polity".
