9 missing babies in Anambra recovered as Human Rights Group commends Police

www.odogwublog.com reports that Nine (9) missing babies in Anambra state have been recovered by the Nigerian Police following a complaint lodged in by Human Rights Defenders, a national Non governmental organization.
  The Rights Group led by Dede  Uzor A. Uzor and Barr Ada Edochie , chairman and legal Adviser respectively had written the Nigerian police, DSS and NAPTIP over the disappearance of two missing Children of one Mrs Uche.
A joint operations was constituted by DSS led by Bro Yusuf Isyaku ,JP and South East zonal command which led to the recovery of the two children of Mrs Uche , one at Lagos and the other at Obosi ,Anambra state as well as other 7 children from Abuja, Enugu , Anambra and other states.

According to Dede Uzor who broke the cheering news with photos of the recovered children, his group  commended the DSS, Nigerian police and NAPTIP for rescuing two toddlers snatched away from their mother as well as other children.
Uzor said in a statement: ‘’ my fellow Comrades, am delighted to inform you that the two missing children of this woman Mrs Uche was this evening finally recovered by joint operations with members DSS Anambra led by Bro Yusuf Isyaku JP and NAPTIP South East Zonal Command.
‘’… recall that this house was alerted by a Police woman via the mother of this missing children last Nov 2017 and immediately, we went into action by putting up a petition to both DSS and NAPTIP respectively, the result finally came out today, although the female child was recovered from Lagos late January 2018 while male child was recovered this evening at Obosi in Anambra state.
‘’Mazi Oderaa of Oderigbo Foundation donated the sum of N20,000 while Dede Uzor also donated N10,000 for this gallant officers who went through hell to recover these children without demanding for any financial assistance, on  the cause  of this operations, 7 other children were recovered, one from Abuja, Anambra, Enugu etc. These children will be united with their family any moment from tomorrow’’, the statement concluded.
