1. N20m COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT
Council observed that a number of Communities have not completed their very first tranche due to environmental and other circumstances. Council frowned at this delay and have directed the Presidents General, Traditional institutions and Town organisations to take immediate actions to galvanise the completion of these projects before the end of February 2018. The communities are:
Anambra South Senatorial Zone
1. Ezira      (Orumba South LGA)
2. Ihite        (Orumba South)
3. Oraifite    (Ekwusigo)
4. Awgbu     (Orumba North)
5. Nnewi      (Nnewi North) 
Anambra Central Senatorial Zone
1. Awka        (Awka South)
2. Oba           (Idemili South)
3. Ugbenu     (Awka North)
4. Isiagu        (Awka South)
5. Ebenebe    (Awka North) 
Anambra North Senatorial Zone
1. Obeagwe        (Ogbaru)
2. Ifite-Anam      (Anambra West)
3. Ukwalla          (Anambra West)
4. Ogbunike         (Oyi)
5. Umueze Anam (Anambra West)
6. Ifite Anam        (Anambra West)
7. Ogidi                 (Ogbaru)
8. Aguleri             (Anambra East)
9. Igbakwu            (Ogbaru) 
Council  also noted that  a certain number of communities have not processed the second tranche of the N2Om Community Infrastructure Project. These communities are asked to hasten up and conclude this process. Government is set to activate the third tranche shortly by March 2018 and completions of one and second tranches are clear prerequisites for communities to qualify.
2.ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE
Government is equipping the Anambra Road Maintenance Agency to operate three work teams in each of three senatorial zones and aggressively maintain the road network in the state. NdiAnambra are encouraged to keep watchful of the roads for repair and cooperate with the workforces
3.LASSA FEVER
Council is very concerned of the outbreak of Lassa fever and has continued to provide considerable medical attention through the professionals at the Ministry of Health. Everyone is advised to take extra care in cleanliness habit and  for any symptoms which should be promptly reported to health authorities. Council requests all Local Governments, Churches and Unions to disseminate to  our people to be extra vigilant in Schools and public places.
4.Dr EKWUEME’S BURIAL 
Government notes with satisfaction and gratitude the cooperation of all and sundry..ndi Anambra,Clerics, Schools, Markets, Corporate offices, transporters and Security services  towards events regarding the Anambra State funeral of our beloved His Excellency Dr Alex Ekwueme at Ekwueme Square and at Oko.
Government also wishes to remind our people, particularly vigilantes and President Generals in the Oko and Umunze areas to protect and safeguard the recent huge investment on street lights undertaken by the State Government.
