Another Vampire gang led by Collins Ezenwa a.k.a E-Money, newly wedded arrested , others shot in Owerre

www.odogwublog.com reports that a newly wedded man from Imo State, Collins Ezenwa popularly called E-Money has been shot dead by the operatives of Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Imo state police command during a shoot out with kidnap kingpins.

Collins who wedded last November was said to have gone underground alleging he had traveled to Malaysia for greener pastures.

According to Sixtus Okechukwu in a Facebook post, E-Money returned in December ostensibly very rich and making everyone green with envy over his new acquired wealth.

However, last Sunday, the Police gunned him down during a shoot out to apprehend a dreaded kidnap syndicate.

Imo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Andrew Enwerem told www.odogwublog.com  that E-Money alongside two others were gunned down, while three others were arrested alive.

Enwerem explained that the gang was dreadful like that of late Henry Nwabueze, popularly called Vampire, adding that they were so sophisticated that they operated using special number plates, to beat the unsuspecting public.

E-Money was allegedly so rich that he bought and gave out cars to people during the last yuletide.

On his part, another member of the kidnap syndicate, Chinwendu Sylvester, 24 years from Olori Amaraku in Isiala Mbano local government who allegedly operated as the driver said he took to kidnapping after Governor Rochas Okorocha demolished his business at Ekeonunwa market, Owerri.

Chinwendu said his clothing shop was demolished and then he approached a friend who introduced him to the syndicate, wherein he operated as the driver.

According to him, he has spent three years at the Owerri prisons for robbery related offense.

He said his role in the gang was only to drive victims to their den, adding that the boss E-Money pays them after their victim pay ransom.

He said " when a job pays, he pays us according to the role we played, one of our victims paid N2million and he  gave me about 380,000. In all from December he gave me above N600,000 in all the operations", Nzeagwu explained.

A Police source told newsmen that the gang leader accumulated millions via the crime saying "it is unfortunate that we could not capture him alive. He was a multimillionaire, he bought cars and gave out to communities where he received chieftaincy tittles".

According to the source, the Police is in possession of some vital documents that will aid in investigations. "Our CP wants a clean job, three are dead and three are alive but we believe that they have a chain and we are going after them", the police source stated.
