Bus ran into a shop as 15 escaped death in Anambra 

From Ugochi Nwagbo, Awka  No fewer than fifteen (15) persons escaped death by whiskers at Amawbia, Awka South local govt area yesterday when a bus ran into a shop. 

Eye witness said the shop was filled with customers when the yellow Toyota bus ran into a shop.

Two of the three shop owners were selling can drinks while the third sells stock fish. 

The bus levelled the shops destroying goods worth thousands of naira but no life was lost. 

The bus driver was said to be trying to overtake a vehicle,unfortunately a learner with Toyota Camry car was coming in front and the bus and in order not to have a head on collision with the Toyota Camry , the driver swerved and ran into the Shops. 

The bus was filled too with passengers even as a young man and and an elderly man were seriously wounded.

They gave been taken to an undisclosed hospital as at press time. 

A customer at one of the shops who did not want his name mentioned praised God for saving their lives and urged road users to be careful while on wheels.
