War in Aguleri , Umueri over land grabbing, 600 youths ready for war , INEC office burnt down

www.odogwublog.com reports exclusively that there is open confrontation between the youths of Umueri and Aguleri in front of Zora hotel near INEC.

It is reportedly said that Aguleri people and Umueri people were mobilizing 300 youths each ready for battle near Otuocha stadium . The tension became imminent following the alleged parceling of land by Aguleri people which Umueri termed expansionist and trespassing on their land .


Umueri PG , Chief Pius Okonkwo represented by Edwin Obigwe  had last month sued for peace among the two communities during a press conference when reacting to invasion purportedly by Aguleri in Ezi ovelle land.

Governor Obiano had instructed security intervention and normalcy was restored then after some houses were destroyed and some people injured .  

Few hours ago the INEC office was burnt down reportedly and Obiano was pained by such development after security briefs.


Already, truck loads of police men were sighted by our reporter at the police headquarters Awka for immediate dispatch to probably Aguleri and Umueri ......
