please in the name of whatever you believe in and for the sake of millions of igbo who live and do business in lagos let someone tell this boy called nnamdi kanu not to bring his madness to lagos. iam saying this with every sense of responsibility and my commitment to project nigeria.

having lived in lagos for more than 35 years i understand the dynamics and politics of lagos very well. lagos is nigeria's economic and business hub and we take this very important issue of security of life and property very serious. now all things considered,the safety of nnamdi kanu cannot be guaranteed in lagos, and i am being mature about it.

now let the truth be told once again and it must be that nnamdi kanu was released on certain bail conditions. in our own very eyes he has flouted these bail conditions with reckless abandon and impunity and those igbo leaders who visited in prison and those who went to bail him are maintaining grave silence. nigeria is not a banana republic.

for now i suggest that nnamdi kanu's madness should be limited to south east where elders have gone to sleep except igwe achebe of onitsha, the agbogidi and hrh the eze nri.

A story that must be told never forgives silence. If a writer is silent he or she is lying. Let history be my witness! Joe Igbokwe...
