Ugwuanyi sacks three commissioners, sends three nominees to state assembly

www.odogwublog.com reports that amidst speculations of imminent reshuffle of his cabinet after two years on the saddle as head of government business in  Enugu state, Governor Ugwuanyi, yesterday forwarded names of   three commissioner designates to members of Enugu State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation.

The three commissioner designates are Messrs Joseph Udeji, Robert Anikwe Ogbuagu and  Hon. Donatus Ani.

The members of Enugu state house of assembly acknowledged the receipt of the names, which was authored by the Secretary to the State Govr,[SSG], Elder Gabriel Ajah,on behalf of Governor Ugwuanyi.

The leader of the House, Hon. Okechukwu Ezeugwu urged his colleagues to put on hold, the task of  consideration and confirmation of the nominees  till Thursday, July 20,2017.

The Speaker of the House, Hon. Edward Ubosi directed the Clerk of the House to inform the nominees to submit 25 copies of their curriculum vitae for assessment by the house, before confirmation

In another development, a report on the bill to amend the Education Law Cap 37, Laws of Enugu state 2004 and to provide for Matters Connected therewith, House Bill No. 6, 2017, was presented on the floor of the House by the Chairman of House  joint Committee on Education, Science and Technology, Gender Affairs and Social Development, Judiciary, Public Petitions, Ethics and Privileges, Hon. Matthew Ugwueze.
