IPOB LEADER CAUSES STIR AT CRUSADE GROUND

www.odogwublog.com reports that the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu caused a major stir at a crusade ground where the Chosen Charismatic Renewal Movement held its just concluded international crusade tagged God's Time to Take Over when he stormed the area with his followers.

The IPOB leader who was clad on all white Senator dress, with a red cap to match had entered the crusade ground unannounced while the General Overseer of the Movement, Pastor Lazarus Mouka has already mounted the rostrum, attracted the attention of participants at the crusade which held Sunday at the Event Centre under construction at the capital city of Umuahia.

Immediately his presence was noticed at the crusade ground with his entourage, people got distracted as virtually every worshiper wanted to catch a glimpse of the IPOB leader, hence the sudden surge to the canopy where he was seated.

Because the General Overseer was already busy with miracles prayers and testimonies, when Kanu arrived the crusade ground, he could not get his attention for the close to thirty minutes he spent there, but this offered people at the ground the opportunity to cluster around his canopy.

Kanu who later left the crusade ground through the new entrance gate opened up by the Movement"s crusade organizing committee for the purpose of the two day crusade, drew along with him a chunk of the population there gathered, while the programme was still going on.

Speaking in Aba in an interview shortly after the crusade came to an end, Pastor Mouka had insisted that the several political and economic problems bedeviling the country can only be settled by prayers by inhabitants of the land even as he had condemned the attempt made to remove Christian Religious Knowledge from the educational syllabus in the country.

His words, "Prayers will see us through the several problems of this country. As for the CRK issue, God must surely reverse it back to what it used to be. But Christians must be fervent with their prayers as God can do all things".

He disclosed the the economic recession biting hard in the country is being felt by the movement and its members even as he noted that finances to run the affairs of evangelism in the movement has gone down. "But I believe God that it is under His control.  We are moving on", he had said.

Highpoint of the crusade was the miracle service where captives of numerous ailments including deaf, dumb, arthritis as well as other illnesses were set free, as well as the special prayers said for the well being if Abia State as well as Nigeria.
