Ex-youth leader Mr Ezeugo Ikeomu, aka Zion, Assassinated in Anambra

www.odogwublog.com reports that former palace (Imeobi) youth leader in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Mr Ezeugo Ikeomu, aka Zion, has been assassinated.
Ikeomu met his untimely death while relaxing in a beer parlour at Umuota village, Obosi.
Sources told Odogwublog.com that three men, who drove on a Mercedes Benz Car 190, trailed him to the beer parlour where they shot and axed him to death.
The source said: “On alighting from the car, one of them stripped himself, removed his shoes, made straight to him at the beer parlour and started shooting him at close range before the two others who were with axes joined and killed him instantly and zoomed off.
Contacted to confirm the incident, the Obosi Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Mr. Patrick Ozoemena, declined comment but managed to say only that “the corpse has been deposited at St. Edward mortuary Obosi, and one suspect arrested at Chico Area of Obosi”.
It would be recalled that the assassinated Ikeomu narrowly escaped death last year when he was shot by suspected assassins adjacent to the Obosi town hall.
