ANAMBRA 2017: BEWARE OF STATE OF EMERGENCY- APGA IDEMILI WARNS

The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) party chairman in Idemili South Local Government Area(IDSLGA), Comrade Felix M. Obunadike has warned All APGA party faithfuls and Ndi Anambra to ignore the purported call by the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) to boycott the Anambra Gubernatorial election coming up on November 18, 2017 saying that if election was not successful it could lead to the declaration of a State of Emergency and imposition of a Sole Administrator in the state.
    Obunadike sounded this warning during the conclusion of the ward tour visit of IDSLGA APGA Party Excos in collaboration with the Transition members of Idemili south L.G Council recently at Oba.
    He reminded them that Late Chief Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu formed APGA party and pleaded with all Igbos to join the party before his demise.
    “In view of our preparedness concerning the November 18 Governorship Election, we are here to sensitize our people that come out en masse to vote in our action, working Governor Chief Dr. Willie Obiano (Akpokuedike global) for a second term. Ignore the people saying there would be no election. If there is no election, there could be a State of Emergency with a sole administrator imposed on Anambra State”, said Obunadike.
    “APGA party is the only platform Igbo people have in this country. Keep the flame of APGA alive. Keep the flag of APGA flying so that our hero Late Odumegu Ojukwu will not be disappointed in us. Igbos are not represented at the Federal level of government led by All Progressive Congress (APC). The Yoruba’s started with the Alliance for Democracy (AD) from Lagos to all Yoruba states until they formed a coalition with CPC of the North to get Power at the federal level now they are enjoining, “he said.
    The party chairman further revealed that unlike 2015 presidential election the APGA party will field a candidate for 2019 election, adding that anybody who has interest can join the race for the presidency.
    Earlier in their addresses the chairmen APGA Oba ward 1 and Ward 2 Comrade Samuel Udokwu and Comrade Chika Onwubualili respectively assured the delegates that they would do their best to ensure APGA wins in their wards but pleaded on the need for government to empower and motivate them financially to enable them put every required logistics in place.
    In his vote of thanks a transition member of IDSLGA, Hon Mmadubum Edozie urged the APGA faithful to still retain the consciousnesses and anxiousness in the Spirit of Okokoro okoo which the party logo represents.
    APGA stake holders who graced the occasion from Oba included Chief Ogonna Obi,Hon Mmadueke Mojekwu, Chief BM Onyeka, Chief Charles Obi, Mr Ogonna Ezepue.
    The transition members were led by Chief Bencord Ojukwu (Deputy chairman IDSLGA), Chief  Ifeanyi Onunkwo, Hon Nnaemeka Orji,Hon Chukwuebuka Igboanugo,Hon Ekene,Hon Okezue U. Hon Eruchalu, Hon Unigwe Celestine. Others are Hon  Woman leader and deputy women leader, Comrade Blessing Edeh and Comrade Oluchukwu Maureen respectively, etc.
