Fake Pastor in Anambra Chris Tochukwu arrested for baby factory

Abia state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebade has paraded a fake pastor and operator of a medical centre in Aba who allegedly converted his clinic to a baby factory.

The suspect, Chris Tochukwu from Ogidi in Anambra State was said to be habouring five pregnant teenagers in the clinic with the intention to collect and sell their babies after they have given birth.

One of the inmates rescued from the clinic, Imeboh Udoh from Akwa Ibom State, said her two year old baby disappeared from the clinic after the fake pastor haboured them for about two weeks.

She said she came to Aba  early this year with her baby begging arms at the Main Park area of the commercial city when the man saw her and promised to help her and  provide shelter for her and her baby.

According to her, the suspect later took them to the clinic where they were haboured but after some weeks she never set her eyes on her baby again.

Another pregnant teenager  rescued from the clinic, Miss Blessing Harry, 18, also from Akwa Ibom said she came to work in Aba after her secondary education.

The teenager who said she was five months pregnant said she was lured to the clinic by one woman who promised to help her get good medical attention.

She said the fake pastor was starving the inmates and demanding sex from them with the approval of his wife.

She said the suspect locked her up in a separate  room after raping  her  while the wife ( now at large) threatened to kill her after she must have been delivered of her baby for attempting to escape from the centre.

" He came to check my tommy one day and suddenly pulled my pants and when I resisted he slapped me and started raping me. I was shouting until my voice went down. The girl in the other room was calling my name but he threatened to kill her."

She said rescue came their way after one of the inmates escaped from the clinic and reported to the police.

The escapee, according to her had inflicted injury on the man's neck as he attempted to rape her  before she escaped.

Meanwhile, the suspect who said he was a professional nurse said he decided to lock some of the inmates in isolated rooms in the centre because they were allegedly planning to escape without settling their medical bills.
