Tony Nwoye blasts Obiano, set out agenda to redeem Anambra

www.odogwublog.com reports that the member representing Anambra East and East in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Tony Nwoye has stated the need for full involvement of youths in both federal and state governments, as that would improve efficiency and prompt service delivery.

Hon Nwoye who is equally an aspirant in forth coming 2017 Governorship election in Anambra under the auspice All Progressives Congress APC,  disclosed this while addressing some pressmen at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha.
The Rep member noted that he was motivated to vie due to some irregularities and corruption that had crippled the socio economic activities in Anambra state, ever since APGA government took over power.
Dr Nwoye alleged that APGA led government had siphoned local government finds meant for meaningful development of the state, and empowerment of the youths, adding that APC party which is known for anti corruption would expose all their embezzlement.

He commended the present Governor Obiano's achievement on security, which he said he would improve further on it to attract local and foreign investors for positive transformation of Anambra State.

The Governorship aspirant stressed that his administration would map out several avenues to strengthen the economy of the state and boost the internally generated revenue, which no one had accounted for in the past.
Speaking on education, the medical doctor regretted that there is influx of drop out and hawkers along the streets of the state due to hardship leading to non payment of school fees.

He maintained that his administration had provided different ways to offer free education for the indigent and also provide bursaries for Anambra students who are in different states to give them financial respite.
The APC stalwart observed that Anambra state has various untapped potentials which are yet to be harnessed for proper productivity, saying that yet are to be done in the area of the state's commerce and industry.

The APC chieftain regretted that the present policy of exportation of tubers of yam and vegetables by  Governor Obiano administration had not in any way impacted positively in the price of goods in the market, noted that people of the state had been suffering, as the present administration pays lips services to provision of avenues to cushion their sufferings.

The young vibrant aspirant vowed to make agriculture a veritable platform to boost the economy of the state and create several job opportunities for the youths.

He explained that all his policies were geared towards improving standard of living, create direct and indirect employments, in line with projecting the state to global recognition.

Dr Nwoye said he would transform the state's health Centres that had gone moribund due to lack of management and negligence by previous governments .

He urged youths to shun social vices and embrace peace, as well as utilize their vote wisely, saying he has come to redeem Anambra State.
