Abagana community accuses Prince Engr Arthur Eze sponsored police and Ukpo community of complicity over son’s death, Ebele Nwochu in prison

www.odogwublog.com reports that residents of Abagana community in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State have accused the Anambra State police command induced by the Ukpo Oil magnet Prince Engr Arthur Eze of masterminding the death of their son, late Chief Ebele Nwochu, while he was in detention at the Area Command, Awka.
They also accused the police of unlawfully detaining 15 others including a woman till date over the land dispute between them and Ukpo community in Dunukofia council area which erupted in August 19, 2016.
They said despite the billionaire in Ukpo, that Abagana is better developed in all ramifications than Ukpo, wondering why Arthur has not brought any factory to Ukpo despite his billions but always eager to humiliate and intimidate Abagana people. 
The President-General of the community, Chief Ben Ugha, made the allegation during a burial ceremony organized for the deceased on Friday at their family compound in Orofia village. He alleged that the police took bribe from Prince Arthur Eze , a multimillionaire from Ukpo community to intimidate and unlawfully detain the residents of the community.
“He was granted by bail by the court but police refused to release him despite meeting bail conditions. Police refused to release him because they have been bribed” he alleged.
Another community leader and a Member of Abagana Elites and Professionals’, Prof. Godwin Okafor, absolved Abagana community of terrorism allegations leveled against Abagana as reported in some sections of the media as accused them by the commissioner of police over the land dispute.
Recall that on 19th of August, 2016, a group of people invaded a police post situated between the two communities and destroyed five buildings under construction, burnt two vehicles belonging to the Nigeria Police and killed a security guard.
Since then, there have been allegations and counter allegations over which particular community carried out the dastardly act. Till today, both communities are laying claim to the disputed land.
All calls and text message to the police spokesperson in the state, ASP Nkeiruka Nwode, for comments were neither picked nor replied.
