War in Biafra Land over IPOB Victory in court

02/03/2017

Press Release

The Customary Government of Indigenous People of Biafra-the De Facto Biafra  Government in Nigeria rejoices with Biafrans across the globe on the yesterday historical legal victory against the agents of Nigeria. We ,in Customary Government of IPOB are happy that Nigeria Court has reconfirmed our earlier position that there is nothing illegal about the name- Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) .

We are also happy that our own - Nnamdi Kanu and Team have remained uncompromising  even in the face of intimidation .Yesterday victory is a victory for all of us who believe that there was a country called Biafra even before Nigeria was created in 1914.

As we push to take over our political space with the recent alliance of our Political Movement - MOBIN with UPP, we pray that the God of Biafra shall continue to protect Nnamdi Kanu and Team to sing the lord's song at the appointed time together. Amen.

Ndubuisi Anaenugwu
Director - Directorate of Information, CG-IPOB

CAVEAT EMPTOR:

The IPOB being referred to as a lawful organization by Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako is the IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu. We hereby alert Biafrans and the public that the IPOB mentioned in that ruling, as a lawful organization, has nothing to do with any Nigerian political party.

Anybody peddling any story of the IPOB, referred to in that judgment, as being in partnership with any Nigerian political party is a deceiver and must be shunned and if possible handed over to the police for prosecution on charges of fraud/419.

Those claiming the glory now are on print as having referred to us as a violent organization which is one of the conditions that qualify an organization to be an unlawful one. The IPOB that went to Binta Murtala-Nyako's court is the IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu and not any other IPOB.

Again, CAVEAT EMPTOR to those receiving deceptive messages from these 419ners.

Ndewonu,
Mazi Iroanya
