Biafra and Kanu’s detention: IPOB leader's continued detention may lead to bloodbath - Cleric

www.odogwublog.com reports that the General Overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries (a.k.a By Fire By Fire), Nnewi, Anambra State, Archbishop Abraham Chris Udeh has warned against impending bloodletting of a high volume across some cities in Nigeria, if the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu is not immediately released from the prison custody unconditionally.

Archbishop Udeh disclosed that it was revealed to him in a prophesy, a couple of days ago, blood flowing in the North and Southern parts of Nigeria due to a revolution caused by continued detention of Kanu.

He explained that the crisis, according to the way it was revealed to him, snowballed into civil disturbances to the extent that corpses were seen littered by the roadsides in some major cities, while the disturbances lasted.

"I saw great massacre in the North, South East and South South of the  federation when people trooped out in the streets chanting war songs and solidarity for the release of Kanu. And there was a clash between the protesters, army and police which led to holocaust," Archbishop Udeh said.

He warned Ndigbo living in the North to begin to relocate without further delay irrespective of the properties they had there, adding that the only thing that could avert the impending crisis was release of Kanu as many had so demanded.

Udeh noted that from his own point of view, Kanu  had done nothing to deserve the long period of incarceration he had continued to suffer, stressing that lawmakers of Igbo extraction in the National Assembly should go on protest to persuade the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to listen to what he called voice of wisdom to release Kanu before the nation is plunged into an avoidable crisis.

He regretted that the lawmakers had pretended over the years not to know that they should make meaningful contributions to see that the IPOB leader is released.

The Archbishop who described the Ohanaeze Ndigbo as a toothless bulldog in the past also tasked the apex Igbo socio cultural organization to rise up to its responsibilities to fight injustices meted to the Igbo in various  angles.

On President Buhari's administration, the Archbishop declared that  it had failed because of rising economic difficulties in Nigeria which end, he said, was not in sight and called on the National Assembly to impeach the President. He cited cases of suicides and attempted suicides as part of evidences of a failed government.
