Archbishop Okeke lauds Obiano’s blueprints

www.odogwublog.com reports that Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, Most Reverend Dr Valerian Okeke has commended Governor Willie Obiano for his administrative blueprints which had attracted global recognition.
Archbishop Okeke who spoke during a Holy Mass at SS John and Paul Parish, Awada, Obosi to mark his Pastoral visit to the Parish and the Church Dedication urged the Governor to ensure he is not derailed in his people oriented projects even as he said Christ came to the world not to condemn the world but to ensure that through him, the world might be saved.
He reminded Christians that they can keep God's commandment if they ask for God's grace.
This is coming as Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state announced that the State Government is to construct one point two-four-five kilometers of road in Awada Layout.
The roads in the scheme include five hundred meter Osumenyi street, the four hundred and twenty-five meter Urum street, the one hundred meter Nsugbe street and the two hundred and twenty-five meter road leading to Saint James Anglican Church Awada.
Obiano said his administration is committed to the upgrade of road infrastructure across the state to reduce the sufferings of Ndi Anambra.
The Governor who noted that his administration in the past three years had invested heavily on agriculture to create an alternative foreign exchange earner for the state, said with the numerous Investments his administration had attracted in the sector, the state will soon achieve food sufficiency across major food belts and generate surplus for export.
Governor Obiano assured that his government will remain sensitive to the plight of the people and further improve  their standard of living so as to reduce the pains of present economic crunch.
Obiano further said the ongoing construction work on Saint Stephen’s Trans-Nkisi, Federal Housing Estate road, Onitsha, will be completed on record time.
