House of Representatives members on Today, Thursday adopted a motion to urgently put on check the growing cases of Human rights abuses and acts of impunity by the State Security Service.
This is coming after the SSS tried in futility to arrest Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Fire Ministry in Ekiti on Wednesday, January 25 morning.
The house cited the flouting of several court order made by competent Court of law by the security agency.
The House noted that the Agency has continued to detain Col Sambo Dasuki, Nnamdi Kanu and others despite Bail granted by the court.
The motion for the probe was jointly raised by Toby Okechukwu, Zakari Mohammed, Chinda, Jisalo and Ali Madaki.
